Basil was four years old when he was found living on the streets of Los Angeles. Life had not been easy for him and he was very shy and cautious around new people. He was malnourished and underweight when he was rescued, but he is now living a pampered life in a fabulous forever home in Qualicum Beach. His parents are kind-hearted folks who spend lots of time socializing Basil and teaching him to trust people again.

“Basil loves to jump into the flower pots.  He loves to sunbathe on the deck.  He loves the yard and takes care of everything; he’s very much in charge.

He loves to cuddle and kiss and relax in front of the fire.

He loves his chewies and toys and is very playful.  He runs like a racehorse all over the house at top speed with a toy in his mouth several times a day, just to show us how very clever he is!

We adore him!”
