Bouncer
was surrendered to a rescue group in Los Angeles at the age of ten
months as his owners "didn't have time for him". As a result of the
wildfires in LA that summer, which placed a heavy burden on all of
the shelters and rescue groups in Southern California and led to
extremely high rates of euthanasia, Bouncer was flown to Vancouver
to find his forever home. He now lives with a wonderful family in
Cloverdale and he is dearly loved.
***An
update from Bouncer’s family:
"Just
a quick note to let you know that we did puppy classes and Bouncer
did very well and practice, practice is so important.
We
love him alot and he is doing very well. He goes everywhere with
us,
we use the kennel I bought to travel any long distances as
it is much safer for him, he gets along really well with my
mother’s dog, Muffin, but she doesn't like to play as much as
Bouncer--but they get along which is good.
He
still is on the natural diet and doing well on it.
He gets the omega oil in his food and his coat shines and
is so soft. He jumps into the shower with his "dad" to
get his bath without any hesitation.
It’s too funny to see them having a shower together.
He
is a great dog and we can't thank you enough."
