Charlie
was three years old when he was picked up as a stray and taken to
a local animal control facility. After spending three weeks in the
shelter, Charlie was becoming quite stressed, so he was taken into
rescue. When Charlie arrived at his foster home, his ears were
badly infected and they were causing him a great deal of
discomfort. Once the ear infection had been treated and Charlie's
teeth had been buffed and polished, he found a fabulous forever
home with a recently retired couple in Port Alberni. Charlie's new
family loves to go traveling in their RV, so Charlie has plenty of
new adventures to look forward to!

***An update from
Charlie’s family:
“Charlie
is adjusting very well and almost has us trained already! He
has decided that he wants to share the cat's water bowl, has
picked his favorite spot on our bed and when a meal is done, he
loves to lie on a warm lap.”
Special thanks to Cora and her Care Collar Fund for
sponsoring Charlie and assisting with his medical costs. |
