Harley
was rescued from a busy shelter in Los Angeles as part of the “New
Hope” program. This recent initiative makes it easier for approved rescue groups
to assist dogs who are in imminent danger of euthanasia in
overcrowded city shelters.
Harley was flown to British
Columbia, where he was adopted by a stay-at-home couple in Powell
River.
Harley’s
dad is wheelchair bound and Harley is an excellent companion to him.
They snuggle together and take naps together. Harley
likes to ride on his dad's lap. Harley’s mom doesn't have any
physical limitations and takes him for several little walks each
day. His new family loves him dearly!
