Kaiser
was four years old when his owners surrendered him to an overcrowded shelter in Los Angeles because he was "too hyper".
He was slated for euthanasia and was rescued on his "last day" by
our partner rescue group, Life 4 Paws.
As it turned out, Kaiser was simply a typical high energy Min Pin
who just needed someone that was familiar with the breed who would understand his needs. Kaiser found an amazing forever family in Port Coquitlam.
They instantly bonded with him and were eager to provide him with the love and guidance he
required in order to reach his full potential.
***An update from Kaiser’s family:
"Kaiser’s doing great! He’s really
settled down since we first brought him home. We have found him to
be a very smart dog. He now listens to our commands and we are
quite surprised at just how much he understands. He’s also getting
better and better when on walks. When walking, he still gets a
little excited when seeing other dogs on leashes but has toned it
down considerably as he tries to listen to what we tell him. We
are very pleased with him and sure glad we were able to give him a
loving home. Hopefully more and more people will get to know about
your organization and be able to offer a home to a needy dog who
is looking for love."
