Success Stories

KC was picked up as a stray on the dangerous streets of Los Angeles and taken to a busy animal shelter. Nobody came forward to claim or adopt him, and he was in danger of euthanasia due to critical overcrowding.  So he was rescued and flown to British Columbia in search of his forever home.

KC is a young, happy, sociable little fellow who thrives on love and attention---and he receives plenty of both from his new family who live on the Sunshine Coast.

****An update from KC's family:

"I can't possibly begin to properly convey the amount of joy little KC has brought to our lives! He is an intelligent and affectionate companion that quickly adapted to his new life in our home. Despite the generous gift of a wicker dog bed, he scrambles under the covers of our bed each night and snuggles under the electric blanket until morning. He has brought us unconditional love, and that is a rare commodity these days! If you had told me six months ago that a tiny six pound Chihuahua would steal my heart, I would have laughed! He is never yappy and never nips. I wish everyone could experience "Chihuahua love" because there is no love like it! Keep up your amazing, good work and thank you so much."
