Lea
came into our care after her elderly guardian passed away and family
members were unable to provide her with a permanent home. At
three years of age, Lea was not housetrained. She had led a
very sheltered life and she was in need of confidence building,
training and socialization.
Lea spent several months in our
foster care program while her dedicated foster mom helped her with
her housetraining and socialization. She also took Lea to
obedience classes to help improve her confidence and teach her some basic
manners. After being micro-chipped and having her teeth buffed
and polished, Lea was ready for adoption. She found a
wonderful forever home with a loving family in Duncan. Lea's
new mom takes her to work every day, so she is rarely left at home
alone, and she is committed to continuing on with Lea's training and
socialization.

Special
thanks to Beverlee for sponsoring Lea in memory of Aleta and assisting with her medical costs. |
