Success Stories

Lily was only a year old when she was surrendered to Furever After Small Dog Rescue because her owners were unable to care for her properly.  They felt that she was difficult to handle and they were allowing her to run loose much of the time.  We took her into care because we were worried about her welfare.  Lily was a sweet little dog who just needed some boundaries and structure in her life.  She adjusted quickly to the routines in her foster home and she turned out to be a perfect angel.  After being spayed, tattooed, micro-chipped and updated on her vaccinations, Lily was ready to find her forever home.  She was adopted by a wonderful lady in Nanaimo who has lots of love to share.  Lily has a new canine sister named Bailey and the two of them have become fast friends.  Lily has a fabulous new life ahead of her!

**An update from Lily's mom:

"...Lily is wonderful.  I can't imagine life without her.  Bailey loves her as well.  They play for long periods everyday.  Right now they are both asleep at my feet after their dinner.  They are very tired from daycare - Lily has a great time there..."
