Success Stories

Lucy was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Los Angeles as part of the “New Hope” program, which makes it easier for qualified rescue groups to assist dogs who are in imminent danger of euthanasia.

Lucy was flown to British Columbia and adopted by a wonderful lady in Powell River.  Lucy shares her new country home with cats and a Collie and she has an excellent relationship with her other furry companions.  The Collie is mellow and plays very gently.  Lucy loves to sunbathe on the back sundeck, even in the heat of summer!  Lucy is a much-loved member of the family.
