Molly ended up in a Los Angeles city shelter
at age eight, when her guardian passed away. She was brought in with
a younger dog, who was quickly adopted, but she was left behind. She
was rescued on her "last day" and now lives in a fabulous home in
Burnaby, where her family takes her for long walks and spends lots
of time with her every day. She is considered to be a valuable
member of the family.
***An update from
Molly's family:
"When we first got Molly, she really wasn't sure what to make of
her new home. Whenever we would go out, she would cry because she
felt abandoned again. Nowadays, it is a whole different story.
This dog is incredible in both her intelligence and her love for
her new family. She is an absolute pleasure to have around. When
we get home from work, she will meet us at the stairs with her
tail literally hitting her ribcage, she is so excited. All in all,
we feel like the luckiest dog owners to have the pleasure of
Molly's company."
