Nash was only about six years old when he was picked up as a stray, but his coloring made him look much older. Perhaps that's why nobody wanted to adopt him from the
busy shelter in Los Angeles. When his time ran out at the shelter,
he was rescued and flown to Vancouver in search of his forever home.
While in foster care, it was discovered that, although Nash loved
people of all ages, he had some aggressive tendencies towards other
dogs. But luckily, Nash found an understanding family who was
willing to continue working with him to overcome this challenge.
***An update from Nash's family:
"Nash is doing great! Training is progressing and his separation
anxiety has noticeably improved, no more howling when I leave the
house. He has also made quite good progress with respect to his
interactions with other dogs, not quite so quick to growl and
bark. We're very happy with him and he has settled in nicely. Thanks for checking in."
