Sammy was rescued from a busy shelter in Los Angeles, where he was just one of many Chihuahua Mixes that nobody was interested in adopting.  He was flown to British Columbia and has found a wonderful forever home in Powell River. 

Sammy’s new family is very happy with him.  He gets along amazingly well with their other little dog, and with their cat!  Sammy's mom says that he gets lots of attention when they're out.  She says people stop her to ask where she got such a sweet little dog.  

People are shocked to hear that a friendly dog like Sammy would end up abandoned at an animal shelter with NOBODY interested in adopting him!
