Success Stories

Simon was a local dog who came into rescue at age two, as his owners were unable to provide him with the consistency that he needed to be happy and well-adjusted. Now Simon has a wonderful forever home in Qualicum Beach where he is treated like a prince!

***An update from Simon's family:

"Simon came to us a little over a year ago. He didn't settle in, he just swaggered in and took over! He gets very excited when I get ready for his walks and scampers around the house and shakes his toys; he always tries to smuggle one into the car. He has made a lot of friends on his walks, both human and canine. His favorite humans are the ones with treats. His favorite dog is a young Great Dane named "Cocoa"---they chase each other around. He is a great sleeper. He moves around from every bed, couch and chair in the house but we have never even been able to get him to lie down in his own bed!"
