Success Stories

Tailor was a senior who suddenly found himself in a busy Los Angeles city pound, sandwiched between kennels of Chihuahua puppies who were getting all the attention. Tailor was overlooked as he quietly watched person after person walk past him to visit with the rambunctious puppies. As an older dog, Tailor's chances of adoption weren't good, especially with all the adoptable puppies available. He ended up at the shelter not as a stray but because his guardian had passed away and he had nowhere else to go. He'd clearly been someone's treasured companion for many years and he seemed so out of place. Tailor was taken into our care and placed in a loving foster home.  After being tattooed, micro-chipped and having his teeth buffed and polished, Tailor was ready for adoption.  He found an amazing forever home in Victoria where he will be showered with attention and affection for the rest of his days.
