Success Stories

Teddy was taken into our care one week after he had unknowingly been purchased from a puppy broker.  The lady who purchased him was not prepared for the amount of time and care that a puppy requires and once she learned that she had obtained Teddy from a puppy broker, she didn't want to take him back there.  A puppy broker essentially acts as a "middle man" for puppy mills and backyard breeders so that purchasers won't realize that they are supporting unscrupulous breeding practices.  After being vetted and having some retained deciduous teeth removed, Teddy was adopted by a wonderful couple in Port Alberni.  Teddy's new parents both work from home, so they have lots of time to spend with him.  Teddy has a canine brother named "Ernie" to play with, and he will be well-loved and cherished for the rest of his life.

***An update from Teddy's family:

"This is just a quick note to let you know that little Teddy is doing wonderfully. He is not fully housebroken yet, but the accidents are far in between these days.  He makes us laugh a lot and has brought a lot of chi energy to our home.  Ernie is his hero and his protector and he really lets him get away with a lot. They are inseparable now.  Thank you again for bringing Teddy into our life."
