Success Stories

Timmy was one of four Pomeranians who came into our care after being surrendered to a local shelter.  The dogs had been used exclusively for breeding purposes their entire lives, only to be discarded as seniors when they could no longer "produce".  Timmy was the only male in the group.

He was placed in a loving foster home so that he could spend some time learning all about the good things in life: warm laps, soft beds and yummy food!  Timmy's medical needs had been neglected and his mouth was in horrendous condition.  Almost all of his teeth needed to be extracted due to severe infection.  Once Timmy had recovered from his extensive dental surgery, he was neutered, vaccinated, tattooed and micro-chipped.  Then he was ready to find his forever home.

Timmy was adopted by an amazing couple in Lake Cowichan.  His new parents are self-employed and they have lots of time to spend with Timmy.  They love him to pieces!
