Tyson
was picked up as a stray and taken to a local animal control
facility. He was filthy and terribly matted and we think he
had probably been used for breeding purposes.
Tyson
had been so badly neglected that he had to be shaved right down and
his hair was literally peeled off in sheets by the groomer.
He was
placed in a loving foster home so that we could spend some time
getting to know him better, while providing him with the medical
care that he required. Tyson was suffering
from separation anxiety and he needed some extra help with his
housetraining. After receiving some much needed TLC, Tyson's
confidence began to grow and his anxiety diminished. He was
soon able to tolerate being left alone for several hours at a time
without becoming overly stressed. With time and patience,
Tyson's housetraining also improved. After being neutered,
tattooed, micro-chipped, updated on his vaccinations and having his
teeth buffed and polished, Tyson was ready to find his forever home.
Tyson was
adopted by a fabulous couple in Nanaimo, where he now lives in a
beautiful home with a nice, securely fenced yard backing onto the
Chase River. Tyson's new family has plenty of time to spend
with him and he will never have to worry about being neglected
again.
