Why We Do What We Do

In North America, an estimated 4 to 5 million dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters each year. Millions more are abandoned, only to suffer from illness or injury before dying.  This is a statistic that we refuse to stand idly by and accept.  The problem of pet overpopulation is extensive and ongoing but with your help, we are striving to make a difference, one dog at a time.

Prior to adoption, all of our dogs are spayed or neutered.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Regardless of where your pets come from, please be responsible and have them spayed or neutered.  The following is a link to a short video made by a caring shelter worker in Los Angeles to help increase public awareness about pet overpopulation.  This video clearly shows the grim reality of the pet overpopulation crisis that exists in our society today.
